How to log into your Seedbox with sFTP

What is sFTP?

SFTP or secure FTP connection represents a secure way to download/upload your files from a Seedbox using an encrypted/secure FTP connection on port 22.

A simple way to log into your Seedbox via sFTP is using FileZilla FTP client.
1) Start FileZilla, and from the File menu choose “Site Manager…”

2) Click on “New Site” button and type in a descriptive site name (in this example “IT Docs” is used)

3) In the “Host:” box type in your IP address
4) In the “Protocol:” drop-down choose: SFTP – SSH File Transfer Protocol
5) In the “Logon Type” area choose: Ask for password
6) In the “User” box input your FTP account username.

7) Click on the “Connect” button to test your SFTP connection
8) Type in your password and click “OK”

9) While connecting to a new host for the first time, or if you change the hostname, you will receive the following:
sftp host key
10) Click “OK” to complete the connection.
