How to reset your root password

We provide root account in every Seedbox.

In this tutorial find out how to change your root password for your Seedbox, from within your Seedbox Control Panel.

In case that isn’t clear, Root account is super-administrative account for Linux based systems.

First, log into your Seedbox Control Panel.

Once logged in to control panel, scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Root Password” tab from the console

The next page will page will have a space provided for your password. Once done, click on change to save the new password

A display message in a light green highlight confirming the change will be displayed on the upper part of the control panel.
